In 2014, Theraband launched a new line of kinesiology tape for physically active consumers, and entrusted the art team at Doner to come up with a sporty look and feel. We went through over 200+ pattern designs that enabled the user to understand how long the tape should be stretched. Instead of relying on numbers like 25%, we focused on basic shapes that would be distorted unless stretched to the correct length: signaling to the user when they had the appropriate stretch.
